About Cassette Toilets
The Cassette Toilet is a built-in toilet consisting of two parts: a permanently installed toilet and a removable waste-holding tank. You can easily access and take out the waste-holding tank via a small door on the outside of the vehicle, making it much easier to prepare the toilet for use and maintain the tank.
To prepare your Thetford Cassette Toilet for use, pour the selected Thetford waste-tank additive into the wasteholding tank using the built-in rotatable emptying spout.
A level indicator is activated as soon as the waste-holding tank is about two-thirds full, and it shows you when the tank needs to be emptied.
To empty the waste-holding tank, simply remove the tank from the vehicle and empty at your nearest authorised waste dump. After this the toilet is ready to be prepared for use again.
About Permanent Toilets
Thetford offer build-in toilets for vehicles that have their own permanent waste-holding tank. These toilets are hooked up to the vehicles central water and waste tank.
Thetford built-in toilet options
The Bravura floor mounted toilet is available in high and low profiles, drawing flush water from an independent pressurised water supply. Waste tank is located beneath or on the floor.
The Electra Magic is a silent re-circulating toilet for buses and motor homes which is guaranteed not to block. No separate waste tank or water supply needed. The toilet is filled with water and toilet additive, pumps recycle the fluid and a double filter system collects the waste. Disposal of waste is through a valve underneath the vehicle.
